We offer complete breastfeeding support for expectant couples and breastfeeding families.  This includes:

  •  Education and Classes

Our classes emphasize the benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants.  They cover a comprehensive range of topics to help new nursing mothers understand what to expect and how to make adjustments if, for example, the mother's milk does not flow abundantly enough at first or if the baby resists breastfeeding.  The general classes to help expectant parents prepare for childbirth all include introductions to breastfeeding.

  •  Consultation and Assistance

Even for new mothers who have not taken a breastfeeding class prior to giving birth, new mothers may request a consultation with a nurse or, if there are problems, with a lactation consultant who can help a new nursing mother get started and also plan to get back to work as soon as she likes while still breastfeeding her infant.
