Babysitting training program for young adults ages 11 1/2 to 16 & covers topics such as:
- Baby care
- First aid
- Fire safety
- Home security
- Accident prevention
- Child behavior
- CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation).
- Participants who attend both sessions receive a babysitter's handbook, safety booklet, and graduation certificate.

The Happiest Baby

This class provides expectant or new parents with step-by-step techniques for helping a baby sleep longer and for calming a fussy baby. The class is taught by certified Happiest Baby instructors who present information on:
- The calming reflex
- The Missing 4th Trimester
- The 5 s's
- The cuddle cure.
Class materials include handouts & The Happiest Baby on the Block & Soothing Sounds DVD.

Infant Care Class

This class is for parents who are not taking a Childbirth program ( 7wk, 4wk or 1 day express), but want to know how to take care of their new baby. Participants will learn:
- Creating and maintaining a loving bond with your baby
- Diapering and bathing your baby
- Taking your baby's temperature
- Ways of comforting your baby
- What is normal in appearance and behavior for a newborn.

- How to use CPR techniques to save your baby's life, if necessary
- Ways to keep your baby safe while traveling
- Simple first aid techniques for emergencies.

| Keeping Toddler Safe |

This class will discuss the hidden dangers around your home and ways to keep your child safe. Topics safe:
- fire safety
- burn hazards
- drowning
- falls
- bites/stings
- sever allergies
- poison prevention
- temperature related emergencies
- choking
- traveling safely
You will also learn American Heart Association child CPR. This class is ideal for anyone who spends time with a toddler or young child.

This class, ideal for parents of children 12-36 months, offers an introduction to toddlerhood and the many ways to embrace this amazing, joyous, fascinating yet crazy time in your child’s life. Join us to discover the how’s and why’s of parenting a toddler.
During our time together you will:
- Discover insightful and important information about this exceptional phase of development.
- Learn why this time of life can be so challenging for parents and tough on toddlers, and how you can decrease frustration for both.
- Gather practical tips and effective tools for navigating toddler development, behavior and discipline, nutrition, safety, potty training, and socialization.
To allow for focused learning and great discussion, please plan on getting a sitter for your toddler.
