A diagnosis of cancer can be very overwhelming. At the D’Amour Cancer center our gynecologic oncologists provide comprehensive care through education, surgery and chemotherapy. Our gynecologists apply their additional training in the managing cancer to provide both surgical and drug treatments. Our specialists are:

Baystate Health Gynecologic Oncologists provide comprehensive care through
- Diagnosis
- Education for patients and their families
- Counseling on hereditary and genetically linked cancers
- Advanced laparoscopic surgery to treat and stage endometrial and early ovarian cancers (via standard laparoscopy or the daVinci robotic surgical system)
- Chemotherapy
for women with gynecological cancer and preinvasive disease. Our gynecologic oncologists work in close collaboration with Baystate's radiation oncologists. Through our affiliation with the Gynecologic Oncology Group, our patients can access state-of-the-art national clinical trials.
Appointments are by referral from the patient's primary physician only. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 -12; Tuesday 8-4.
