Our certified nurse-midwives are trained and qualified to care for women before, during, and after pregnancy. In addition to providing routine obstetrical care, we also provide regular ongoing gynecological care. Our services include:
- Preconception counseling
- Prenatal care and education
- Labor and childbirth care
- Family planning and birth control
- Pap smears and pelvic exams
- Breast exams
- Colposcopy
Our nurse-midwives counsel you through out you pregnancy to help you make informed decisions about your health care, prepare you for a safe and satisfying birthing experience, help you best cope with the pain of delivery, and offer guidance about health and nutrition, as well as newborn and postnatal care.
Childbirth
We are committed to providing care that is physically and emotionally supportive, and involves family and friends as you wish. We believe in helping you create a birthing environment that is calm, empowering, and supportive of the natural process of labor. We encourage you and your family to include elements of your own cultures and traditions in you pregnancy and birth experiences.
We provide the information you need to make decisions about your baby’s birth, from your preferred methods of pain relief and anesthesia, to the labor positions you’d like to try, and who you would like to have in the room during birth.
