The Reproductive Biology lab at Baystate Medical Center provides expert analytical services to diagnose the reasons for infertility, assess which treatments will best help a woman to become pregnant, monitor the development of eggs and embryos to maximize procedure effectiveness, ensure the safe, secure storage and handling of sperm, eggs, and embryos in the lab.
The lab, which has been accredited by the CLIA and the College of American Pathologists since 1993, is directed by Margaret Arny, PhD, HCLD.
The laboratory provides a wide range of Andrology and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) tests and procedures, including:
