The Pediatric Infectious Diseases division provides treatment and consultations for patients with a referral from their primary care physician or pediatrician for evaluation of simple to complex infectious disease process. 

The problem might be an unusual presentation of a common infection, a rare infection or perhaps a series of infections. We see these children in the hospital during hospitalization or as an outpatient consultation.
