This program at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA, consists of coordinated care for patients suffering from degenerative and rheumatologic joint conditions. The goal is to provide early intervention with appropriate therapies to restrict tissue destruction from arthritic conditions. Evaluation will include analysis of the feet, as poor foot positions can adversely affect the knees and hips. Options for affordable orthotic correction will be available. Adaptive equipment and splinting are offered for conditions affecting the upper extremities, in particular, the hands.
