Personal Statement:

When people face difficult times in their lives such as a health crisis, they may experience the necessity of Spiritual Care. The need for spiritual care is based in the human condition that is constituted of body, mind and soul. The importance of Spiritual Care is to assist people of all faith and traditions in meeting their spiritual needs for meaning, for hope, for love, for joy and for a helpful relationship with the Divine, the God of many Names.

  • Hospice Training- Bay State VNA Hospice Springfield MA 2007

Certifications:

Ordained Ministry- Authorized by the State of Massachusetts, 2003.

Finalized first Clinical Pastoral Education unit, 2007. 

Certificate of “Hospice Training Course,” 2007.

Professional Background:

  • Work as a volunteer chaplain in one of the main prisons of Puerto Rico where I helped convicts with spiritual and emotional problems.
  • Visit different centers of rehabilitation for drug addicts and performing interfaith services.
  • Work as voluntary chaplain in the Olympic Specialty Hospital/Park View Specialty Hospital.
  • Worked in the Christian Radio Ministry “United in Faith,” offering pastoral counseling to callers going through personal and emotional suffering.
  • Visited nursing home centers and became a member of the Victory Chaplain organization in Hartford CT.
  • Worked as voluntary Chaplain in Baystate Medical Center
  • Became director of the Missionary Department in Central America and President, Light of Hope Ministry.

 

Denomination:

  • Became a member of the Pentecostal Church Sinai Inc. (Hispanic Church).
  • Elected as Assistant Pastor of Pentecostal Church.
