Introduction

In order to understand how a baby communicates, you have to understand a bit about how they develop and when they accomplish certain goals. Please keep in mind that as with all things in life a baby’s development is very individual and will vary from baby to baby.

With that in mind please refer to this information in regards to the gestational age in question: A word you will hear in this section quite frequently is "disorganized". This means that all systems are interfered with and require a period of time to reorganize. For example; the baby may stop breathing, heart rate may drop, the baby may become dusky in appearance, the oxygen level may drop.
