EMERGENCY SERVICES

24-hour emergency service with expertise in delivering stroke and trauma care with around-the-clock cardiology and neurology coverage.

THE BIRTHPLACE

More than 400 babies come into the world in our comfortable, welcoming birthing services unit with features that encourage you to choose to have your baby your way.

SURGERY

Expert BFMC surgeons perform state-of-the-art procedures surrounded by specially trained nurses, board-certified anesthesiologists, and skilled nurse anesthetists.  Patients receive care close to home and family.

RADIOLOGY AND IMAGING

Our radiology services include: state-of-the-art CT Scanning, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Diagnostic X-ray, Bone Densitometry and Ultrasound.

CARDIAC SERVICES

Preventive, interventional, surgical, rehabilitation, testing, and lab services provide patients with cardiac care and keep primary care physicians well-informed.  Patients can access the catheterization lab at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.

CANCER CARE

BFMC's cancer program provides access to the most up-to-date cancer care.  Our outpatient care includes:

As part of the Baystate Regional Cancer Program, our physicians divide their time between BFMC and the D¿Amour Center for Cancer Care in Springfield and follow identical treatment protocols.  They take pride in offering clear explanations, keeping patients informed and providing them with the best treatment options available.

BFMC recently launched  major renovation projects in our Emergency and Radiology departments and inpatient Medical-Surgical units. These projects will help bring our facility in line with the already outstanding reputation of its people and programs.
